For any on-site help during the school day, Mariposa County Unified requires a one-time volunteer clearance to keep students safe. It only takes a few steps — do it once and you’re set for the school year.
See the district’s volunteer pageGet a TB test or risk assessment, bring the results to the Woodland front office, and sign the volunteer waiver. You’ll receive a “pink slip.”
Take the pink slip to the MCUSD District Office (5082 Old Hwy North), pay $15 cash — exact change — and get a “Request for Live Scan Service” form. Fee may be waived if your student qualifies for free/reduced meals.
Complete Live Scan fingerprinting by appointment at the Merced County Office of Education. Appointment details come with your form.
The school office notifies you once you’re cleared and hands you your volunteer clearance card. You’re good for the year!
Sign up once and we'll reach out when your help is needed — no specific date required.
Every hour translates directly into better experiences for Woodland students.
Meet other Woodland families and be part of what makes this school special.
Give what you can. Even one hour at one event makes a real difference.
